2020 Nuevo Cipres San Juan Muscat

San Juan is an important Argentinian wine-producing area in the north-western corner of Argentina. The province is almost entirely contained within the mountainous foothills of the Andes and sits next to Mendoza. The vineyards are located at a relatively high average altitude, between 2,000ft and 4,000ft above sea level. The region is predominantly semi-desert with irrigation facilitated by the rivers that cross the region. Due to the very dry continental climate, vineyards are dependent on the meltwater flowing down from the Andes mountain range to the west.
